These connectors come with an advanced shielded design, patented lock features and tamper-resistant screw, providing high signal safety assurance, superior EMC (Electro Magnetic Compatibility) performance and unique security, making them a perfect choice for applications that need outstanding signal security.

With 3 row pins in 1.00mm pitch, these high density connectors are available in 37- pin-per-row models, and can be extended from 13- to 40- pin-per-row, improving space utility ratio by 20% than traditional 2-row similar pitched connectors. The modular design supports applications using up to 3 sets of connectors on one board with a maximum of 333 pins per board.

Easy Mating Techniques

These connectors also feature dual-beam receptacle contacts with the ability to withstand high level of vibration providing high electrical reliability. The robust design accomplishes a reliable connection. The blind mating and Poka-Yoke features ensure easier mating with reduced risk of misalignment. Extended guide on receptacle with the help of chamfered header housing achieve blind mating. Poka-Yoke feature on housing avoids reverse mating while post pegs on the connectors make them easier to locate on the board. R/A headers have hooks which make them capable of backside reflow soldering.

Multi-Use Connectors

The BergStak^® secure connectors are available in both multi-time-use and single-time use versions. The multi-time-use options are also available with tamper resistant screws. Both the versions are suitable for applications where security is top priority. The Multi-time-use solutions are much similar to the standard connectors. These high-speed, high-reliability connectors offer an improved durability of over 200 mating cycles.

One-Time-Use Solution with Patented Lock Terminal

The One-Time-Use solution has a unique patented lock terminal with lock shield features that can provide extremely high security and are suitable for applications that need tamper-proof connections. These are available with an optional anti-tamper screw providing additional security. The connection with the One-Time-Use option is so strong and secure that once the connectors mate together it is impossible to separate them without damaging the PCB of vertical receptacle as more than 90% soldering pad would peel off when unmated. Lock features on terminal and shield contribute the most to achieving this.

With its optimized terminal design, the connector family supports higher and more reliable data transmission up to 32Gb/s, making it suitable for applications that require high-speed transmission.
