Celebrating its 50th anniversary, ECOC 2024 will bring together over 1,600 attendees, 30+ nations, and 400+ speakers to share the latest breakthroughs and future visions in optical communication technologies.

Amphenol is showcasing three exciting demos at the ECOC this year. Each of these highlights our innovative solutions in optical communication and data center technologies. Take a look at our demos:

• Beyond Chip-to-Module with 800G OSFP LPO: Catch this demo where we will feature an 800G OSFP LPO transceiver, which is specifically designed for 800G Ethernet links. Amphenol will be displaying this in collaboration with multiLane.

• Beyond the Data Center: Next-Gen Ruggedized On-board Fiber Optics Transceivers: This demo showcases the OBT, SCFF, and QEPT platforms. Supported by Amphenol Active Optics Products, this demo focuses on advanced transceiver technologies designed for reliable data transfer.

• Next-Gen Data Center: Connectors and Optics in Environments: This demo presents the ExaMAX2 ARK connectors, TR70 probing interface, and 800G Transceivers operating in an immersion environment. This demo is a collaboration with KEYSIGHT and dustphotonics.

Amphenol is excited to present its latest advancements in optical communication technologies at ECOC 2024. With a strong legacy of innovation and excellence, Amphenol continues to lead the industry with its high-performing solutions that are designed to meet the future head-on. Here is a cross-section of what you can expect to see at the Amphenol booth.

Among the standout products on display are the high-performance solutions that are essential for data centers and high-performance computing applications, like the 300G CXP2 Active Optical Cable (AOC) and the 100G QSFP28 Active Optical Cable (AOC). These cables are engineered for high-speed data transmission, bridging connectivity requirements in high-density environments.

Amphenol will also showcase products designed specifically for high-speed data center applications that focus on reliable data transmission with low power consumption.  The 400G QSFP-DD SR8 Transceivers and the 800 Gb/s OSFP Transceivers, both of which are notable transceivers that are designed to provide exceptional bandwidth and scalability required by modern network infrastructures.

You will also find products such as the eAMT (Enhanced Amphenol Multiport Terminal), a sealed, rugged multiport terminal, MPO Breakout Cable Assembly, a high-density breakout solution, the H Connector Assembly, sealed fiber optic connection, all finding applications in high-speed FTTx networks. These products, among many others, from Amphenol Fiber Optics Products will feature prominently at the Amphenol booth.

The 100Gb/s QSFP28 Active Optical Cables (AOC) will also be featured, highlighting their capability to deliver high-speed connectivity with low power consumption, making them perfect for energy-efficient data centers.  They support data rates up to 100Gb/s and can transmit over distances up to 100 meters using multimode fiber.

Amphenol will feature products like the Mini-SAS HD Cable Assemblies and the 25G SFP28 Active Optical Cables (AOC). These products are designed to provide robust and flexible connectivity solutions, ensuring seamless integration into various network infrastructures.
