FCI Basics Compact PCI Millipacs® 2mm hardmetric (HM) connectors are designed in accordance with IEC 61076-4-101 and fulfill the interconnection requirement of the Compact PCI bus architecture. These connectors are offered in vertical and right angle orientations and accompanied by accessories like shrouds, covers, metallic shielding, and color coding keys.
Millipacs® for Compact PCI is featured with the 2-beam twisted tulip contact, which provides an equalized signal path, two-contact points for reliability and superior performance in an environment subject to shock and vibration. Millipacs® range currently supports 10Gb/s and 25Gb/s data rate with backward mating compatibility to the standard 2mm HM IEC 61076-4-101 connectors.
These connectors come with protective covers for backplane headers preventing dust and accidental damages like the bending of pins and the high-temperature compatible parts make it suitable for high risk and hazardous applications.
